FOOD, GLORIOUS FOOD!
WHAT WILL YOU EAT?
If you've never been before you may be wondering, 'What will I eat during my time at Momentum?'
Well, have no fear, you will eat food... but it's up to you whether you want to rough it bush tucker style or go a bit posher and have various people cook for you!
COOKING ON A CAMPING STOVE...
A camping trip offers all kinds of 'back to nature' type challenges, the most vital of which involves keeping hunger at bay. If you're coming to Momentum you'll probably be cooking on a camping stove but that doesn't mean you can only eat beans for a week... check out the link below and see what the fine folk at BBC Good Food have come up with to keep your stomach happy all day long!
Broken the camping stove or looking for a change from plain old pasta every night? You'll find some tasty treats at the food vans with jacket potatoes, burgers, chips, Thai, crepes and doughnuts.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
If you plan on eating just from the food court vendors you will want to budget between £10 and £15 a day - depending on your appetite. They serve all sorts of stuff, but most of it isn't too healthy! The vendors and their prices are contracted by the showground and not Soul Survivor, so unfortunately we can't do anything about the cost (sorry).
There is a small shop on site with essentials such as bread, pasta, milk, toiletries, chocolate and ice cream plus the most amazing pic 'n' mix! There's a huge Asda up the road (about a five minute drive) where you'll find pretty much anything you could want including a cash point.
